I'm going to an air show this weekend and was wondering if the 5D Mark II AF will cut it? I've used the 1D mark III with great success, but would like the extra pixels for larger prints and cropping power.

So will the AF be able to keep up?

No problem at all. I have the original 5D and that keeps up fine for airshows.

The mkII uses the same AF system I believe, or a slightly improved version of it. It's plenty fast enough for aircraft.
