I ususally don't like this kind of thing but in my opinion you nailed it and I really like this.

The colors the compostion ( a landscape that the horizon deosn't cut the frame in half) the feeling of motion that kind of capture the power of the ocean and the three distinct strips that are in almost perfect thirds. Really nice Lightchaser. You also captured that nicely. The light really fits the overall image.

ahh great. I've played a bit with this style and I'm really enjoying it.

You're right, it wasn't! I'd like to go back when the seas are rougher too - see if I can get a bit more texture throught the middle.

I've been experimenting with greased filters, slow panning - deliberate dragging of the light. You get some amazing effects. If you're interested, some of my other results are here:

It's a niche market, no doubt about it, but the people who do it really well create some truly remarkable art. Peregrine Images is one. Awesome stuff. An entirely different level to my feeble efforts but I'm determined to keep at it.
