Hi,
I'd like to make a photo book of my safari photos but not sure how to go about it. I don't want photos behind clear plastic. I'd just like about 50 photos in a binder , about 8 1/2 x 11 or a bit larger, double sided,

I ordered one from Blurb which was nice (11x13), but I think it would look alot better on Canon photo paper. Anyone have ideas on where to buy the binder and whether to use double sided photo paper or just paste Photo Paper Pro to both sides of mattboard. Are there ready made kits with binder and a way to insert photos(without plastic sleeves)? Thanks for any help, Steve.

Mpix does photo books. I'm not sure if this is useful for you or not. I'd like to put together a book of my photos for personal use and will give Mpix a try when I do. They've been good for all of my other needs.

Did you specify the "premier" paper on your Blurb book Steve? I've only done one small one as a trial and thought the quality was pretty good although I'd like to see how it fares with larger sizes.

Yes, I got the premier paper and it's good, but it's not real photos like when you print an 8x12 or 8 1/2 x 11 on Canon photo papers. I just want to make an album out of real photos without having to slip them into those plastic sleeves. Canon sells photo album kits, but I think they have those plastic sleeves. I'm thinking about mounting the photos on both sides of black mattboard, punching holes in the mattboard and putting them in a ringed binder without it looking too cheap.
