Everytime, I'm interested at buying something,
it reads:
"Currently, this item is only shipped within the US"...

I'm sure there are some Canadian here, is there any way to get an Amazon.COM item shipped to Canada?

Thanks

lol sure
the prices on Amazon.com are in USD, but even converted to CAD, it is still much cheaper than prices here

Many products only have USA warranties, which is why Amazon will not ship them internationally. Canon is an example of this.

Have a friend/family in the US?

Have you actually looked and compared the pricing to Canada??? I have thoroughly compared and honestly its just as cheap if not cheaper to buy the stuff here once you factor in the dollar conversion. Some of the Americans should be looking up here and saving 25% with the exchange!!! Just my 2 cents as a fellow Canadian who sometimes shops in the States.

all Canadians should bookmark this:

www.photoprice.ca (external link)

pretty good at keeping up with prices on both sides of the border, tasxes, shipping, etc... often is now cheaper to buy in Canada but out of province than to go across the border...

If you really need something, I'd be happy to buy it for you and ship it to Canada if you pay all the fees. Most everyone on the forum can confirm I'm an honest and legit person...

Go support your local camera shop. Better than talking to a website.

But when your camera shop charges significantly more and give you terrible customer service, it becomes a bit of a hassle to work with them

It is much easier to buy from the USA. For example, I could've got a Sigma 10-20 for almost 900 with taxes in Canada, or 500 in the USA. So Canada sucks for camera stuff

Thanks for the suggestions.
I always do enough research before buying something.
Photoprice.ca is a great website to calculate the borders fees and taxes.
But I think for now, I'll wait and stick to local offers of decent second hand gear... photography turned out not to be a cheap hobby... :D
