I'm going to the game Friday night with decent seats. I'm wondering if I can get my 70-200 into Busch Stadium? Anyone have experience with this?
And how about lighting? Is it good enough to shoot with 2.8 or so?

I shot there once last year when I had a 70-300 & was in the front row (shooting a HS game) in crappy weather conditions & they still looked alright. I'm doing another one on May 24th & now have a 70-200 2.8 & plan on using it. I'd like to see some of your stuff to see how it goes. Website: www.rickyhavlik.com

I'm wondering if I can get my 70-200 into Busch Stadium? According to the website you shouldn't have any problems: Cameras/Video Equipment Both still and video cameras are allowed in Busch Stadium, as long as they do not obstruct another guest's view. Credentialed professional news crews/cameras are only allowed on the concourses and are not to film any game action unless given permission by the Cardinals. be sure you also comply with: Bags/Backpacks Guests may bring in bags/backpacks that do not exceed 16" x 16" x 8". All persons entering the stadium and their possessions are subject to a visual and possibly an electric wand scan. -- Ken

Unfortunately, my seats were good for baseball viewing; not so good for shooting. I was behind the home plate screen.
