I appreciate the comments. All images taken with the 300 2.8 as mentioned

I was surprised #2 was liked so much because of the background... I had about a 10 ft wide section that had a good background and the girls dribble very straight.

You have such nice blur on the background in #2 that it is more pleasing than distracting. The girls face, hair, eyes and ball all "come together" and draw the eye well enough IMO.
