Hello all,

I just downloaded the new updates from Canon's site and only zoombrowser would install.

DPP, EU and even PSE all error out telling me that the files failed to expand.

Anybody know what to do?

Thanks for your help
Peace
Mark

No, but that's an unusual error. Sounds like the self-extracting archives in the install package fail. Do you have a soft firewall or other security package running that might be restricting executable files? You might consider re-downing them. Perhaps corrupted.

Also suggest you post this in the computer forum, a sub-forum of the one you're in. Might get more help there. Good luck.

Do you have enough hard disk free space for the expanded files?

You might need to uninstall the original programs and re-install them for the updates to work. I had to do that for zoombrowserEX to accept updates..

EOS 6d, 7dMKII, Tokina 11-16, Tokina 16-28, Sigma 70-200mm F/2.8, Sigma 17-50 F/2.8, Canon 24-70mm F/2.8L, Canon 70-200 F/2.8L, Mixed Speedlites and other stuff.

When it ceases to be fun, it will be time to walk away

Yeppers, thats what I did - funny thing was that zoombrowser went in just fine - all the rest had to be uninstalled first.

Peace
Mark
