Just a little background. I had a 1D and a 1Ds and a few L lenses to go along with them. I had a life changing experience when my wife became ill with breast cancer two years ago. ( she is doing well now) At that time i decided to give Nikon a go. I sold all my Canon gear and bought some nice Nikon gear. I shot with it for a while and recently decided it was time to come back home. I loved the imaged my little old 1D 4mp camera produced! Well here I am again back in the Canon arena and enjoying myself again. I will miss the screen on the D300 most of all.

Here is a Barred Owl shot from today:

What a nice shot... he looks wide awake on such a bright day... usually they have their eyes shut in that kind of light... a great find.
