Victor Cruz looking at the ball as right before he caught it and ran it for a touchdown. One of the best plays of the year. I was 15 feet away, on the Giants sideline.

Here is video of the catch:

Probably really really surprised since he caught the ball, ran for a touchdown, then went through a time warp and was somehow set up in front of the DB for a hit ;)

You need to get behind the catcher for these. The objective is ball in focus, frozen in the air, pitcher and batter out of focus, but in the frame. This thread wasn't really created to show off random 1/8000 captures with a ball in the frame, although most of the posts in the thread are just that.

sorry for posting then. Nowhere in the beginning of this thread does it have rules or the "objective" of what you speak of. I posted in hopes of getting some comments of how to do it better. All-be-it you did that it could have been in a nicer way. I am by no means a professional like you. Have a good day.

Goodness, you can't post anything these days w/out offending someone. Did I not post how to do it there? Maybe I need to take "random" out of my vocabulary? No offense intended, but buck up a bit, this isn't 1st grade soccer where everyone gets a medal.

I'm no pro -- I suck as much as anyone.

ball should be tack sharp
see seems and or read writing on the ball and or stitching
If I understand correctly

I have a ton of balls (lol) arriving at a base a bat ect
I never post those
they are not frozen
they are just slowed down by shutter speed

the ball is what your shooting
nothing else

If this is wrong I can delete this post
