I must say - it's somewhat humorous to watch the attempts and those that have read the earlier posts exhibit their frustration with what everyone is posting.

The goal here is NOT to simply post a picture of a "frozen ball." My kids can do that with their iPhone . . .

The goal here is to capture the ball in focus - with everything else out of focus.

ONLY THE BALL IN FOCUS!!!!

Lol . . . . :lol::confused::razz::lol::lol::lol::lol:

and to be fair the subject line is "post your frozen ball pictures" nothing mentioned about everything else being out of focus.

if you squint real hard at just the ball everything else blurs.

Lol - you're right!

Yeah - title of the post is confusing I guess. Check out pics on this first page. Cool stuff.

yes I have always taken this to mean ball in focus "frozen" and everything else blurry
and a soccer ball basketball ect are kinda big

baseball isnt

tack sharp focus where you can read the letters CLEARLY

plus its moving hence the frozen part means its frozen in motion
I have a few that are fair bit never posted IDT because they are not good enough for this thread

baseball softball ping pong ball maybe a football or spiked vb

come on people

Close. " 'frozen ball' " is in quotes in the subject, which roused my suspicion that all was not as it seemed, and that lead me to read the first post when I first came to this thread.
All was revealed.

I think the subtlety of the subject makes the thread much more entertaining. The truly 'frozen ball' images are incredible, so that's nice too.

As much as I really wanted to post a picture of a baseball or softball encased in ice, I decided this was a better choice...

well to be fair I've been trying to avoid anything with word "frozen" in this year and simply went to the latter post to make sure this thread wasn't going to break out in song. my error for not reading the first few post.

:D

Why not just rename the OP to pictures with balls in them?.....LOL..
Cause people just can't seem to get it. It is actually quite amusing though..

This might be my favorite thread. I get so excited when I see a new post in this one. Just ready to see another picture that contains a ball and laugh again.

Ha Ha, Travis. I take some joy in it too for some sick reason. Might as well be called "Post your balls"
