The object of this "frozen ball" thread is to get only the ball in focus but nothing else.

I think you have a much better chance than I have - a rugby ball is quite big in relation to a shinty ball!

Duckster, You've fallen into a 12 year old secret handshake thread... My initial post more than 5 years ago was also a fail, I had to backtrack to figure out why. Some like me visit the thread from time to time to see who else has been sucked in and to see if they will attempt a shot that meets the cryptic acceptance requirements.

An unintentional almost frozen ball photo. Yeah, I just missed the focus on this shot. Would have been better if the player was further out of focus but it was shot at f/4 because I was using an Canon R6 with a 70-200 f/2.8 + a 1.4 extender III at the time. And the ball is not in perfect focus either.
