Katie Morgan goes for the days record on the womens pole vault event (4.13 M) on Saturday at Stanford University. The senior at CAL helped CAL win this event at the Track and Field meet vs Stanford.

great expression and focus on the face & hands. can you crop so there is less sky and more below her?

I get the black and white. I actually think the pole's shadows on her right eye/cheek really take away from her expression.

Overall, i think the focus on pole/face is a nice effect.

Ya the face was hard to spot on target,
She runs with the pole in front of her and a split second after this she is upside down. This was the only real "keeper" from this angle.
