Has anyone else ordered the new 17mm Tilt and Shift? Having a darn difficult time extracting an estimated date for stock to arrive. I would have assumed Canon had released such info to dealers by now.

Amazon has 31st May but they are not exactly known for accuracy.

I dunno, the 31st of May seems pretty plausible to me

Not over here, but at photo shows the Canon people did mention the end of May when pressed.

I am seriously considering one, instead of the 24 Mk II :D.

Kidn regards, Wim

That 17 ts is going to be quite a lens I think. I am also interested in it. The 24 I had was just not wide enough

I used the 24 as a semi-macro lens a lot on my crop bodies, IOW, similar to the 45 on FF, and I find that I use the 17-40L most often at its shortest end for architecture, lately, which is why I am very seriously considering the 17 F/4 now :D.

Kind regards, Wim
