They serve only to prove that I do in fact own a camera and have been known to use it.  Getting ready to take some "portraits" at the NEWS opening ceremony on April 21:  18-55mm kit lens on that one. Never judge a person till you walk a mile in their shoes - by then it won't matter. You are a mile away and they have no shoes.

my 1D is getting sent out tomorrow! Now I just have to decide what sport I'll go to on Saturday or Sunday to shoot with it for the first time...
pretty happy with them and the built in optical slave works a treat.
