Time for you to get eddicated by me: endlessly debating stuff online is bad for you, and achieves absolutely NOTHING for anyone else (at least, not in the absence of real friendship). Been there, done that. Find something better to do with your time, or languish in a pit of negativity.

I'm giving up :p I realise they are too stubborn to change my ways.

On the bright side, it does give me something to do at work :p

Yup the full amount.

And yes, thanks to Paypal. I guess it's hard for them to argue otherwise, considering the seller TRIED to provide a tracking number, it was valid (gotta give him that) except it was delivered to NSW, and delivered two weeks prior to me paying for the item  so I was fortunate the scammer was an idiot.

When do I get my 10% for pointing out the tracking number issue to you?

Trying to educate people is certainly an honourable pursuit, but you need to know when to give up. State the facts, and walk away. Look at it this way - if someone looks at your work and refuses to believe it's possible to achieve straight from the camera, take it as a huge compliment.

Beautiful photo Justin, and very cute bub.

PP is perfect in my eyes, the way the eyes really stand out is excellent!

Thanks, the aim was to create something worthy of my photo wall at home. I have been scoping opinions of some of my family and had mixed reactions

Soooooooo I'm shooting my first real paid gig tomorrow. Literally a gig too :) 4 bands. Hopefully the venue's good (in terms of lighting). I've never been there before so I've got no idea. I'll probably shoot with the 24 on my 400D and 70-200 on the 1D just in case. If not that then the 24 on the 1D and the 50 on the 400D for a bit more separation. But in that case, I've only got 2 4GB cards. One will have to be in both. I went to Dick Smith on my break tonight, the only CF card they've got is their own brand, 2GB for $22. JB had Sandisk 4GB for $81. I bought my second one from JB a few months ago for $70! I didn't get time to go look at Ted's. Does anyone even sell 2GB cards anymore?

Edit: Ted's website has Ultra II 2GB's for $30 and Ultra II 4GB's for $60. Could probably pick one of those up because I doubt the 400D even needs Extreme III?

Why would you even get a 2GB?! If you're gonna get a card, you may as well get a larger one.

If you can make your way down to Melbourne, you can borrow one of mine for the weekend. But really, I think, get yourself a 4GB+ as you're not going to be throwing it away any time soon...
