How soon can you get into Bing and have a go at getting the price lowered? ![]() Camera Exchange in Melbourne have one with 17-85 IS for $1500 iirc. Ditch that lens for about $500-$600 on Ebay and you score a 40D for a very low price. Only catch is it is a Canon scratched box special Wedding Photography Melbourne

But I've found a cheaper option. I remembered the brand of OC-E3 that I bought off ebay (Yongnuo) and then I remembered that they made a full manual flash. They're about AU$50 from HK so I changed my mind and will get one or two of those as well as the Cactus triggers If you do a search of Yongnuo here there's a few topics about them. There's two different ones though and I'm yet to figure out which is better, the threads have been confusing!Wait for Al to come back with info... He seemed pretty happy with his flashes Mark

Tired. yeah but not as tired as my superstar wife. chics have this inbuilt superhero sh!t when it comes to motherhood... boggles my mind. Seems i made quite an impression in hospital (in theatre - wife had an emergency ceasarian)(all is 100% fine btw..) and i was still swinging the 5d2 and flash... i was getting used to wearing the scrubs too - people looked at me like i was important... haha "Hi everybody - im Dr. Nick" I don't have any idea how it went... The Moose wrote in post #8257339 Please tell me you actually said that to someone Nick! It would have been hilarious. Good to know everything's fine. But I have a question. 5D2 and flash... now that just doesn't go together anymore ISO 6400!Flash is still good, I use ISO 3200, f2.8 and flash quite a bit personally.... Mark

Yup, that is why it is good, if used right give a decent sort of directional bit of the light Mark
