That's as big as the forum allows....

Cool shot man, a bit narrow :p:lol:
I'd try shooting more rows even if it is just of blank sky or ground then cropping to get the aspect ratio a bit more uhhh normal ;)

Thanks Mark.

It was all hand held taken in a patch of about twenty seconds. I would have liked to set up my tripod and done it properly but didn't have the time nor the tripod with me.

Oh,
Good job for twenty seconds :p
You don't really ever need a tripod for straight panos as the alignment software fixes it all up for you ;) (in my experience at least :))

Yeah true, just i would of prefered atleast 20 shots in portrait orientation not landscape, it is way to thin at the moment.

I wish i could fix it up so i could print it and hang it.

another missed chance :(

Don't worry mate, happens to all of us ;)
You could probably use the content aware scaling in photoshop to get the aspect ratio OK with the sky...

In CS4, Command-Alt-Shift-C
Then you can scale the image generally without it looking to screwed up...

Nah, new CS4 feature :|
If you throw a PSD or something up on filesavr I could have a play and see if I can make it any more prinatble...

All the panos I have shot so far has been without the tripod. But when I put my "Twelve Apostles" sequence of photos into APP, the horizon becomes wavey... First time it has happened. All my other panos have rendered fairly well with APP. Healthy amount of overlapping as well.

You have to keep stuffing with the tools in the edit pano thing in APP to fix that :)
It is *really* annoying, but good when it is done ;)

Which 24-70? HSM or non-HSM? I want the non-HSM, a few here have it and rate it highly :)

What's wrong with the HSM version?
