Here's another just for the hell of it.

I'll post some of the sports photos by the end of the week - should have everything done by then and know which are worthy of showing off here.

Never judge a person till you walk a mile in their shoes - by then it won't matter. You are a mile away and they have no shoes.

Just thanks the banks you can't get a credit card... :p

OMG if I had a credit card, I'd be paying it off as if it's my mortgage. I wouldn't have gone all out though. I'd skip the 400/2.8 and settle for a 1D3 + 5D2 combo with many lenses ranging from, oh I don't know, 16-600?

Heh... I think I'm worse actually. :p

I love to have the newest things too but as a 17 year old working casual shifts, it's impossible  That's pretty cool. If you don't mind me asking, how old be you?

I be 34. And I bought my first camera about 4 years ago.

It's not really that cool mate. It's nice to be able to do it, of course you have to sacrifice things to be able to do it though. So yeah, it's nice, but I wouldn't say it's cool.

Ps. Don't worry, they usually give you a pretty low limit to start with. :p

Yeah, that's true. It's always good to build your own house or do it up how you want. My parents have always had a dream of extending our house (it would be great) but I don't think they'll do it anymore. My older sister's already moved out and as good as a larger lounge room as well as a proper study or rumpus room sounds, it's just not worth it.

You just ruined my day :( Haha. I'd love to not have a credit card even when I'm able to get one. Not only to stop me from buying new gear, but just to try and keep me in a good position rather than trying to pay off things while living at the same time. Although I can't really comment on anything like that, I'm not even at uni yet!

See my previous post mate, I know what you mean. ;)

Yeah...we're buying, and it's not easy inner-city Melbourne at the moment :-)

cheers, juice (Canon shooter, Elinchrom lighter, but pretty much agnostic on brands.)

Love hate relationship with them. At times I wish I never had them, however, at times they've saved my life.

Just have to keep it in control. ;)

Damn it would be nice but I can't do it Matt. I said I would get one near Christmas and that's what I've planned for. I had dinner with a mate tonight and planned the finances on the train home and I can't make it stretch and afford what I've planned for the next 6 months.

Damned Ds II and the D3 Nikon are the 2 bodies that I'm really hankering for and it's all to be decided at the end of the year then you come in with this deal! ;)

Now...I must back away from the bank account.

Just had another look through my pics from Lake Eyre and found 3 more I thought were worthy of a look. Enjoy

I really like the third one - the flatness of the land contrasts brilliantly with the clouds.

Wow Andrew. The clouds in the third one are spectacular.

And I thought my gear list / changes were embarrassing :D

I'd love to pick up another 1Ds2, but my current lineup is good enough for now ;) sorry dude, hope you can find a buyer. Then again, you *were* silly enough to buy all this stuff you're now struggling to sell :p

In other buy/sell news, I have a Ray Flash to sell.

It works on 580EX II's and 20/30/40/50/5D's. Model RAC170-2. I'll take 20% less than the best legit retail price you can point me to, shipped. It's LNIB.

@Jim (if you're reading this): sadly the 1D3 doesn't play so nice with it :(
