7D has appeared now. http://www.canonrumors.com …08/7d-100-macro-pictures/ (external link)

Sounds like a good sports/long lens body. Might get one, depending on price.

I don't think it popping up on a site like "Canonrumors" is really the same thing as it appearing, TBH. (Unless it's improved out of site since I visited it and departed, never to return.)

cheers, juice (Canon shooter, Elinchrom lighter, but pretty much agnostic on brands.)

release is supposed to be Wednesday (1st Sept in North Hemi) so I guess we'll know then.
If its over $2K then a second hand 1D2N would probably be better value but Im a sucker for new shiny things

I think most people are, TBH :-)

I was planning on having a play with my new PWs today, but it now looks like I have to spend the day writing a story. Sigh...

I'm not a fan. HDR ain't workin for me there and the distortion is bad, bad really bad.

Never was a fan of the R1200GS. It's like a woman with a SMOKIN' body and a face that she managed to rescue from the ugly stick.

1200GSA, all the right curves.

A month or so ago I brought the same thing from EBay, looks like same stand / ball socket / flash mount bracket etc...IIRC it was around $100 delivered.
