Nope, I actually prefer my 85mm or 17-55 at 55mm. :) Part of the problem is I find the FL rather strange on APS-C. I have a feeling the lens will become far more useful once I get a 5D II.. so that's why I'm still not sure if I'm gonna sell it or not. Many here know how I felt about selling the 35L.. what a mistake that was.

The 70-200 is a whole new lens on a 5D (or any FF body). 70mm is actually useful, and 200 is beautiful for head and shoulders portraits with smooth background. I don't have an 85/1.2L, but would use that in conjunction with my 70-200/2.8 for portraits.

When are you moving to Melbourne? St. Kilda is a nice area. There is a nice patisserie/chocolate shop there (Cacao) :)

I wonder how possible it would be to change my 70-200 2.8 IS into a 70-200 4 IS and some primes in that range...

Actually you know what I use that whole range at 2.8 too much for that to really work...
I'll just have to keep saving for the primes :p

Yeah, that's what I suspected. I guess I should hang onto that 70-200 until I see what it's like on the 5D II. Right now.. I don't really use it much. At all!

f/2.8 ftw!

About 70% of what I shoot is f/2.8 or faster.
