I have a feeling the lens will become far more useful once I get a 5D II.. so that's why I'm still not sure if I'm gonna sell it or not. The 70-200 is a whole new lens on a 5D (or any FF body). 70mm is actually useful, and 200 is beautiful for head and shoulders portraits with smooth background. I don't have an 85/1.2L, but would use that in conjunction with my 70-200/2.8 for portraits. Dave
