LOL you know that's the biggest thing I hear from other wedding/portrait photogs. Cloning the same pimples over and over or razor rash or whatever...you really have to love your work to do this. And it's expected. People don't want to see what they do look like. They want to see magic. If you don't do it, they won't buy it and sometimes they cannot "see" it. Invariably if I only do a few photos, those are the ones they like. If I do a bunch usually I get the "I'd like to buy the disk".

I shot that memorial last year and this one kid, the nephew in every shot, had some serious pimples to clean up. I worked with a few so much I almost named them by the time I was done.

on a side note, when one is doing delicate minuscule slider adjustments in LR, and one's mouse (not the cute friend variety, but rather the computer variety) is a PIECE OF FREAKING CRAP, it is REALLY difficult.

Or if your motor skills have deteriorated and are not what they used to be those sliders can make one REALLY frustrated.

I realize we'll probably be her hardest subjects (old/fat) so she'll get some good practice in at photoshop as well as choosing her angles well :lol:

*smacks Mousie (lovingly) upside her head*

The shots will be AWESOME.. both because of the subject and because of the photographer. :D ;)

I missed this but really it's not just your mouse. My mouse is like this too. Now I only use the pen for the sliders in lightroom. Otherwise it's just jerky & takes forever.

Things I've discovered this morning:

  • That, while maintaining the rule not to crop at any joints, I realized that the spine is, essentially, a collection of joints. So, really, the only crop that can be made is mid-femur.
  • I've never had Zane's number.
  • It's hard drawing twenty hi rez comic characters. :o
  • The neighbor lady likes Creole music. Loud.
  • Cat does post processing with mouse crap. As much as I love Cat, I don't think this trend will catch on.
  • There is no shame in Macadamia nuts for breakfast.
  • I appear to be very biased towards my kids. I'm thinking that my Tif will beat the SOCKS off of Tiff in a shoot out.

I tend to ramble. Feel free to put me on ignore.
