It's easy to hate spiders. When I lived in Las Vegas, I had a house on 2.5 acres just off 6200 block of N. Jones Ave. There was a tamarac hedge on two sides of the property. I saw lots of black widows and scorpions.

I just tried to kill a scorpion that was up at the top of the wall in the garage....I missed and it fell behind some boxes of left over tile...wasn't gonna try to move them out of the way tonight. It'll die anyhow with the poison in there.

Nope poison does nothing to scorpions because they have an exoskeleton. Have to use diatomatious(spelled way wrong) earth to kill scorpions.

Be back in just a little while.

Okay...

(I know this is weird for photographers but)...

our 25th anniversary is in Oct. (Bobert's birthday I think)

We decided we wanted to have our photos done for it.

Our Tif is going to do it when she comes out.

I realize we'll probably be her hardest subjects (old/fat) so she'll get some good practice in at photoshop as well as choosing her angles well

I'm very sure they will turn out fantastic!

Last night, Wade and I found the most amazing spot for a photo shoot. It's a bit off the beaten path, and takes about 30 minutes on a dirt road to get there, but it is so cool!
I think on Marian's next day off, we'll go do our family shoot there. :D

oooooooh can't wait to see!

sevillafox wrote in post #7839377 (external link)
Awesome!

I'm going to light my tulips on fire and take pictures of them.

And I'm off. I have to leave early tomorrow to meet some friends. I'll take the camera and depending on what we do, may take some shots of a neighbouring country

Have fun!!!

Have to share another, sorry.

I have three. A business one, a personal one, and one I use for all those stupid sign up things that will invariably give you junk mail as soon as you enter your E-mail address. I never EVER check that one.

Yeppers, I have 3 also for the very same reasons.

Deb here's something for your heart. I told you all of the little boy I knew who had kidney cancer; he is now 1 chemo treatment away from being DONE with all of his chemo and radiation. He has come thru a little thinner and with no hair, but he is now and will be the day of his last treatment completely cancer free.

His hair will grow back, he will eat what he wants as he wants after the nausea is gone and he will go on to be a happy healthy normal now 9 year old boy!

That is wonderful news! Thanks for letting us know that, Crissa.:D

and for a 3fer...the new puppy is going to be named Kassidy. It was going to be Cassidy but Dan pointed out that "Kassidy with a K is much smarter" (2points if you know which quote I'm ruining).

wow. That was so weird. I thought I'd caught up and really I was still a whole page behind. When I posted it took me back to where I'd left off...and I couldn't figure out where I'd posted. I had a moment of panic thinking I'd posted on another thread

No idea on the quote.

So it is for sure, then. When do you get to pick her out and when do you get bring her home?

Will she be a full sister of Kona or did you decide on the other pair?
