Another dog story:

Troy now thinks that the normal procedure of things is to pee on the kitchen floor, then RUN outside really fast and stand on the grass. Cause that's where you are supposed to go stand after you pee.

Little dork. He got it. He's just got it wrong.

Becky do you all prefer your canon flashes to the sigma? what's the difference?

GGGGAAAAaaa....I'm so not the one to ask this question. All I can tell you is I understand the manual mode better on the Canon.

We went with the Canon due to better build, faster recycle, more durable, ability to adjust in 1/3 increments in manual mode and they were on sale at the time.:D

PM Curt for specifics, he can give you the technical pros and cons. Except for basic flash use, I have to ask him for any setting adjustments any specific situation may need.

thanks Becky, there is a $50 dollar rebate coming in May, I think I'll just bite the bullet and get what I want. My mom offered to buy it for me for my birthday but I feel guilty cause it is so expensive. I'll get it and tell her it was less.

Nope poison does nothing to scorpions because they have an exoskeleton. Have to use diatomatious(spelled way wrong) earth to kill scorpions.

Be back in just a little while.

I've used Ortho Max and another brand in a silver bottle and green lable (can't remember the name) and both have killed scorpions. Last summer I sprayed the whole house inside and out with one of those and I had no insect problems at all. If I found a scorpion, it was dying (real slow moving and sluggish) or dead (scorpion jerky).

Stepping on them works.

If you can get to em before they duck behind some boxes....oh and having shoes on would help to.

Permagrin wrote in post #7841118 (external link)
oh I've never seen that on! We have the star wars one that you can choose to be a bad guy but it's not a kid one.

The only Star Wars game that I can think of that is not the kid one is Force Unleashed which you are a Sith Apprentice or is it Knights of the Old Republic?

Dog story:

Amikah sleeps on my legs and feet in the evenings while I sit sideways on the couch.

I've been so busy the last week or so, that I keep working at my desk even in the evenings when I usually stop working, and maybe just grab the laptop to play while I lounge on the couch.

She's apparently missed our 'couch time', and is right now squished into the tiny spot under my desk, curled up all tiny, with her head on my legs.

 It's so sweet, and it's making me want to stop working.

Awwww.....Joshua doesn't do that. If I'm on the bed or the couch up stairs he lay on me, but if I am sitting somewhere else he would rather lay on the mat in front of the door.

I spent most of this morning hacking on a vine that was considered overgrown 5 years ago. I've had my fill of spider encounters for today.
