Jim...you can only see friends and people in your network. You can group your friends into different categories...for example, I have one group for my family, another group for photographers, another group for former classmates.....etc.

We also have an RRTP and TPBM group on Facebook....sort of a backup if this place crashes again.

You can adjust the feeds from your groups so you can see as little or as much of what they are doing as you want. It sounds complex...but it is very simple once you get the hang of it. I use it as another place to network with friends and customers. Works pretty good for that.

And you can hide stuff like people taking lots of "Are you from Ashville" quizzes...;):p:lol:

In regards of to face book, if you sent me a drink, threw a snowball, tossed me a quiz, sent the mob after me, gave me an easter egg......I ignored you. Don't be offended I just don't do all that stuff.

Would you believe he picked out that get up himself at the store?
They did serve drinks...but I look lit cause I was tired. Had been up since 4AM that day. For some reason I could not sleep at night. Wife and I actually took a daily nap, even if only 30 minutes.

Thanks Dan, that explains a bit. The network thing makes sense to keep different parts of your life separated. I am sure nobody here wants to know the stuff my 12 yo niece has to say. :D

So Dan, is this a network that you have set up and one of us would just join into, or is it something I have to set up?

No harm in trying, nor too old to learn. ;)
