Lisa, I forgot that we had met that poodle before. I didn't recognize her as Kona's sister's friend (can't remember her name).

he's 6.5 months and I don't know. He's already at the top weight he was supposed to be and he's technically supposed to grow til he's 1. We have no idea now how big he'll get. He's so thin. Eats like a horse but really lean.

I've never been to a dog park, and I'm curious... what happens when 2 dogs start fighting? I'm sure it happens. Do the owners go all ballistic? Or do you let the dogs work it out?

Despite the dozens and dozens of dogs, you don't see a lot of fights. It happens, of course, but not often. I've only heard about fights, never seen one there. There are lots of little scuffles here and there playing and establishing top dog (normal stuff).

We were talking to a lady today whose dog had been bitten on the lip and got torn up a bit. Lisa, Dan and I were talking about what to do. I wouldn't reach in with a hand ever, but if I had something like the chuck it or something, I might try to intervene. But dog fights are usually short-lived and not something to get overly worked up about in my opinion.

well I've never seen an actual fight. Today when there was a scuffle with a pit bull and Kona (the pitbull was being dominating but not attacking) I was just saying "HEY HEY!" and the owner came and got the dog and took him away. (Kona was yelping like a stuck pig)

The nice pitbull cross dog got attacked last time he was there I guess. Tore his cheek and mouth (apparently by a stray dog). She didn't say how they broke it up.

Diane, I think this boy was part pitbull and he was the nicest dog


and this poodle loves to play with Kona's sister but she wasn't there today so he and Kona played
