Okay, if I ever take my camera out of the car at that place again, it will NOT be at noon on a sunny day, and I WILL use a tripod.. When I was shooting, I saw some great stuff. With 2 or 3 exceptions, Lightroom didn't see things the way I did.:lol:

he's 6.5 months and I don't know. He's already at the top weight he was supposed to be and he's technically supposed to grow til he's 1. We have no idea now how big he'll get. He's so thin. Eats like a horse but really lean.

Any of the other stuff in bloom?

a few of the following: Rhodies, aezalias, lilacs, panzies, delphinium, lupine, allium, and some other stuff, but it's all just starting. The mini iris's in that long bed on the north side of the garden are all in bloom, but very few in the middle. A week of sunshine will make nice changes.

Kona and Maggie shots, YAY!!!!

Looks like they had a great time.

Bax has been sick, I don't think the stuffing in the couch cushion agreed with his stomach.

Uh oh....keep us posted.

Generally people with dogs that fig don't go to dog parks. It is people who want their dogs to play with other dogs. The one time I had a dog really go at Jinx it was some sort of thug dog with motley owners. I jumped in and started kicking the other dog with everything I had. Jinx and I won I yelled to the other person to control their dog or I was going to kill it. They came and dragged it away. This was not at a park.
You often see those spats where they start to get serious and all the owners yell HEY STOP IT!!! Generally they do. The hunt hounds will get into it a bit while working out pecking order and as soon as we yell LEAVE IT! they start to wind down.

Nice pup shots. The sleepy one of Maggie looks like what we call hot head dog. Jinx puts her shiny black head in direct sun and stays really still. After 15 minutes she is almost too hot to touch She then wallows in the grass or carpet and tries to rub the hot off. She will ask to go out and head to the center of the lawn where it is hottest.

Oh oh

Yeah, being all black, she gets hot. She ran to the far end of the park today (and not just for water!) to lay in the shade.

Thanks.

Sadly, it's supposed to start raining on Monday.

Any Oregonians going to the train thing tomorrow at Union Station?

Thanks Lisa, if I start using a tripod with it I could come close to Chris's work!:D:D I might pick up a new set of legs this week. The Gitzo.. like Dan has... are nice for some uses, but get heavy and awkward. I think that if I have a good set of light weight... mag fibre?.... legs that I enjoy using, I'll be more enthused about tripod shooting.
