I used my 20D with my 50f1.4 at my daughters Spring concert tonight turned up to iso800, I'm actually very happy with the results! Shutter speeds about 80-125, f2.2-2.8.

Yes I'm processing as we speak.

Cant argue with a deal like that.

I'll be off for a couple hours.....maybe a couple days.

I'm moving computers around, and whenever I do that, the network gets scrambled.

Pray for me.

LOL. we sort of have an adopted daughter named Val who might get offended if we named our dog that. But funny!!

Right now we are leaning towards Schätze (it's German for "treasure")

Of course if we do go with that then the papers will say Schätze Von Drache

I really like that!!

I just talked to Lisa and it seems my mom has two severe unilateral fractures, though I am not sure exactly what that is. Regardless, I guess she will need surgery. She just went for more x-rays before they begin.

Maybe she could get a room with my brother, the one who underwent all that major stomach surgery a year ago. He just went under the knife again on Monday for a fairly major hernia operation. They are at the same hospital.

Mark will be in for a couple more days, at least until the severe pain subsides. They have him bound up in a girdle type thing to keep his parts together. They opened up most of the 14" incision he had from last time again. My mom will be in for at least overnight, and who knows how much longer.

Anyone want to come to my house to paint? ;)

Hope Mom and brother both have a speedy recovery. And I will only paint if I can keep my feet on the ground. I don't like ladders.

Some of you might remember a link I posted a little while back about a baby girl getting ready for open heart surgery. The surgery was done a couple days ago, and she's doing very well. She is actually going to be released from ICU ahead of schedule.

That is terrific news!!! Thanks Chief!:D

You would not believe what I have gone through trying to get a new copy of Windows to load on my computer. I bought a new SATA drive to replace the old IDE drive that the OS was on. But for some reason the motherboard will not recognize the new drive so I hooked it up to a PCI adapter to get it formatted. Here's where it gets stupid. When I put in the windows disk it does not see the drive on the SCSI adapter. When it asks if you want to install 3rd party SCSI drivers it only allows you to install them with a floppy disk. I don't have a floppy disk drive. Why in the hell would I need a floppy disk drive right. So anyway now I have the drive in the case but I am using an SATA to USB adapter to plug the drive into the USB port on the front of the computer.

It's pretty redneck but at least it will let me get windows loaded.

uuuuuuhhhhhhh...

it's colors aren't as good as the zeiss but the ca is much better. The bokeh isn't bad either and it is AF.
