Okay so today was my Rugby Union lancashire/cheshire plate final and also my last game as colts ive been playin with these guys for 13 years now and it was quite the emotional event so obviously i brought the trusty Pro1 to capture this and because i was playing in the match i had to trust someone to
help me do this! i gave it my friends girlfriend who said she would take some shots for me so the game began and within the 1st two minutes the ball was kicked out into touch just annie was taking her first Pro1 shot the ball bounced on the ground and flew straight into my lens which broke the camera and gave annie a nasty cut and bruise on her face  i didnt see all this happen but unfortunately it did, and only to make matters worse im currently doing a final project in my uni course which is.....yes you guessed it! PHOTOGRAPHY i now have 4 weeks to do a project ive been planning for weeks with no camera!

i kept my calm and made sure annie was okay before even attempting to look at the camera but afterwards i turned it on and i was greated with a nasty snapping sound coming from the lens about 4 of them and LENS pops up on my camera screen

p.s we won!

at times like this you'd think the only thing i could do is panic? nope im keeping my cool and gonna have to use my 4mp Olympus

Bummer man, and I have so liked the photos you have been posting from your Pro1.

Bless the recently fallen and their family and friends.
I have a Cannon with me at all times. You can't take the shot if you don't have something with which to shoot.

Okay with my last gasp effort i thought to myself? "it was a heavy knock that broke the camera so maybe another heavy knock would fix it??" it was my last effort before i lost the camera for 4 - 6 weeks for repair and have to change my entire project for uni in the process

so i decided to give it a slight whack with the palm of my hand...and BOOM out comes the lens and waheyyy were up and running again :D who said abit of brute force couldnt fix anything!! and i guess its one less job for the canon boys to contend with too

THE PRO 1 DOESNT GIVE UP EASY!!!!
