Hmm... I bet you stopped breathing when that ball hit the camera.

You may play rugby, but better keep your camera away from it.
Threre's no Medicare for digital cameras :lol:

ROTFL! I don't know if it's a saying in Oz, but in the US we talk about BFI: Brute Force and Ignorance. Sounds like BFI was the magic fix for you.

Seriously, it might not be a bad idea to get the thing checked out when you can afford to do without it for a few weeks. There might be some lurking problems that could be cured. My own COMPLETELY unbiased suggestion is that you should wait until I've posted a Speed Challenge entry that's pretty good. (*big grin*)

Wacking the camera to fix it is called American know how. Many a piece of equipment has been fixed that way.

I don't think the warranty will cover trauma from a blow. It's for normal usage breakage.
