Ok, so I haven't dug into photoshop w/ these yet... I'm bored @ work, so I figured I'd play with these a little.

My little sister is a senior in highschool at the moment, so we went out yesterday and took a bunch of senior portraits [presents for her, since I'm a starving college student ;)] Anywho, here are some of my favorites. I've never used photobucket before so i hope this works... and resizing these on here makes them look crappy... because I probably have NO idea what I'm doing hahaha.

I took these with my new xsi [Still trying to figure it out lol] <3

THANKS FOR LOOKING!!! I would appreciate and feedback :)

Looks like you had a fun day out Kamrie. I like the 1st shot... the tilt is fine. The second shot you have some wide angle distortion going on shooting at 18mm. Notice how long her arms look. :) The last 2 look nice. I'm sure she will be pleased with these.

For the resizing... Flickr does a pretty decent job and it is free if you ever want to give it a try... pretty much all I use...

Have fun!
Hatch

Thanks hatch! I did notice that! There is another one where her legs did the same thing, they look stretched...

We definitely had a fun time :)

Looks like the AzPPA will have a group of folks there the time we were thinking about going.... hmmmm Maybe we should all become memebers?

Jay... if you want to strobe outdoors... we have enough gear in the group to practice... would save some cash? :)

I appreciate the offer Frank but I think a "controlled" educational environment (with no expectations) will be of benefit to me. The classroom session on Friday night should be worthwhile as well.

I need a "cherry popper" where I'm among similarly skilled shooters and it's ok to goof before trying a shoot where it matters (even if the end result is TFP.)

Think of this as my first time out of the nest... ;) Right now, virtually everything related to portraiture is just theory to me. This will be a good opportunity for me to see if I actually know what I think I know.

Wish I could join you Jay.

I've gone on a strict budget since the Mrs. determined that we need a new house.
