@ ryan, hm... ok. have you heard anything about the ones from canon? like this Canon OC-E3 Off Camera Shoe Cord 3 (external link)?

That's the one I have. Got mine at Photomark. Not really too much price difference on the little accessories like this.

Good edit Kamrie. :) And good shot too.

Question: Would you guys put your before/after edits up on your website?

I can kind of see it both ways.

A. It shows what you're capable of doing with fixing an image (even though you should be able to do most of it at the shoot).

B. The models wouldn't want their "before" pictures shown public... or something like that.

What do ya'll think? I started to put a section up on mine, but decided I'd ask what everyone else thinks before I go any farther.

thanks! =D

Hmmm, I think I would play it case by case. If they don't mind you putting up the "before" pics, then I say do it! :)

Looks like the AzPPA will have a group of folks there the time we were thinking about going.... hmmmm Maybe we should all become memebers?

Jay... if you want to strobe outdoors... we have enough gear in the group to practice... would save some cash? :)

Is this going to change the plans? I'm pretty flexible at this point.

well a lot of them on that thread say that that cord tends to break on them. so it gets costly. Read some of the reviews that the people have on that. I think the one I had was the promaster (external link)

If you are advertising the kind of edits that you can do to photos then yes go for it. otherwise I would say no cause you need to show the best of the best for your portfolio

I'd tend to agree with Ryan. If you're selling "Retouching Services" then some notable Before/Afters might be a good idea.

If all your selling is the photography itself, I don't think I'd make any available unless asked.

Anyone free during the day on 10/1? I may need two assistants to help photograph 35 pastors, and do prints onsite.
