From Facebook....

onOne Software is releasing free versions of PhotoTools 2.5 and PhotoFrame 4.5. These are great plug-ins, and the Free versions don't have a time limit or watermark—they're fully functional. What a great way to give customers a taste of onOne products. Check out onOne Exchange and onOne University on the same site page, too.

I sometimes use PhotoTools when doing my PP. They have some nice stuff in there and the new update released finally allows their software to work properly with Win7 64bit. I have been using Nik Software for Lightroom. Their software works great for my needs. But if OnOne is offering up free software, can't beat that with a stick.

OK kids, which memory cards do I want for my new 7D I am ordering tonight?

Also, suggestions on a wide lens for landscapes. I have none at the moment. (Remember the 1.6 crop. I am thinking the 10-22 EF-S)

Also, a nice carbon tripod and head. My Manfrotto I have now is very nice, but it's not backpack small, or backpack light.

Maybe a Speedlite also. Which one?

Yeah, an unexpected check showed up in the mail today, and I'm burning it up at B&H.

S.C.

Get the Canon 10-22, it's a rockin' lens for all kinds of things. You could also use it for landscapes.

I got mail from onOne

Thank you for requesting an onOne Software download.
Trial versions of our software will expire 30 days from the date of installation. Trial software is fully functional, but it may add a watermark to the results. Buy the full version to remove this limitation.
There is no trial period limitation for PhotoTools Free Edition, PhotoFrame Free Edition, PhotoPresets for Lightroom, PhotoPresets for Adobe Camera Raw, and DSLR Camera Remote Server. These products are free and fully functional.

time limit? no time limit?
watermark ? no watermark?

NOTHING is really free, you might think it is, but there always seems to be some kind of catch.

You like cheerleaders? Just don't forget that there is a basketball game going on in the background that you should be watching.

Are you having a hard time paying attention to the game, try a game without cheerleaders, like hockey.

What time?

Should I look for you? Do you want to meet up and sing "why can't we be friends" while listing to the smooth sounds of the band "WAR?"

Blue-J - thanks! That's a beautiful bike!

Thanks, it now has its red seat back on too. And, you can forget how beautiful it is on the AZ "twisties", it is sweet, light, and flexible. I don't need much more.

Dean, I have thought about trying other brand lenses, but I haven't had the courage yet. And I PM'd you my cell #.

Ryan, it's not a bad lens, but having that 70-200 L glass makes it tough to want to toss on the 100-300 when the former reaches fairly well in most cases.

S.C.

haha, well I actually got to try Joyce's 1.4 tc and was loving the reach I could get inside of Monkey Village at the zoo. I'm actually planning a little project for myself cause I'm having a hard time identifying the monkeys (they used to wear collars) so I was just looking for a way to get in nice and close with the monkeys to help me get some nice headshots of the monkeys.
