onOne Software is releasing free versions of PhotoTools 2.5 and PhotoFrame 4.5. These are great plug-ins, and the Free versions don't have a time limit or watermark—they're fully functional. What a great way to give customers a taste of onOne products. Check out onOne Exchange and onOne University on the same site page, too.

I sometimes use PhotoTools when doing my PP. They have some nice stuff in there and the new update released finally allows their software to work properly with Win7 64bit. I have been using Nik Software for Lightroom. Their software works great for my needs. But if OnOne is offering up free software, can't beat that with a stick.

Also, a nice carbon tripod and head. My Manfrotto I have now is very nice, but it's not backpack small, or backpack light.

Maybe a Speedlite also. Which one?

Get the Canon 10-22, it's a rockin' lens for all kinds of things. You could also use it for landscapes.

I love the nic software too.. but I don't use lightroom as i should be... But you are right.. free is always nice for trying out new things.

NOTHING is really free, you might think it is, but there always seems to be some kind of catch.

Thanks, it now has its red seat back on too. And, you can forget how beautiful it is on the AZ "twisties", it is sweet, light, and flexible. I don't need much more.

Dean, I have thought about trying other brand lenses, but I haven't had the courage yet. And I PM'd you my cell #.

Ryan, it's not a bad lens, but having that 70-200 L glass makes it tough to want to toss on the 100-300 when the former reaches fairly well in most cases.

haha, well I actually got to try Joyce's 1.4 tc and was loving the reach I could get inside of Monkey Village at the zoo. I'm actually planning a little project for myself cause I'm having a hard time identifying the monkeys (they used to wear collars) so I was just looking for a way to get in nice and close with the monkeys to help me get some nice headshots of the monkeys.

I swear, guys, this is the perfect time of year. Just wrapped up another shoot at the falls in Tucson. I'm loving this!
