Thanks Frank! Lovely scene Becca. Maybe I'll wander out to Bartlett tomorrow...

This seemed to be a day for the birds...

Male Anna's Hummy (I think...)

And I think it was Frank who wanted to see a Moon shot with the 500

i heard that you guys got snow! yipes...

We did, a few inches but was gone in a day or so. I can deal with that, when I was in the Chicago area forget about it, it was ugly and depressing.

... Here are a few shots with some of the new Honl gels and speedgrid I bought from him. These are photos of my dog Tyson. No editing was done, these are straight out of the camera.

Cool. :) Nicely lit, and your doggie is cute.

Speaking of cool, those shots seem a tad blue-ish.

Yeah, sorry. :o Bad timing on my part. I didn't have a good macro to use, and I was too busy this weekend to take one. i won't guess until i can get something suitable to play with.

Yeah I had a blue gel over the flash. I bought a bunch of Honl gels and was just testing them out to see the various effects and I did use a dark blue gel for those pictures hence the blueish, good eye. I'm just now learning what gels to use when, where and why. I've got the CTO's figured out and the other colored gels i have are just for effects for the most part.

WOWZA!! I'm so behind the thread as usual....

Love your wildflower shots Frank... Really, really really bummed I didn't make it out with you.

Becca, I love your shot too.. such a beautiful scene! :) It's always a bummer when the wind ruins your chance of shooting close up flowers.. but that just gives you another chance to go back out there. :)

Jay.. looks like you are having tons of fun with that new lens... The moon shot is pretty darn cool.. can't wait to see what it looks like when you "set it up properly".. lol..

Congrats on the motorcycle spread Dean.. your action shots never cease to amaze me. :)

NIce doggie Matrix... how was the class at Studio Moraie anyway. I wanted to go just to meet the photogs over there.... Jason, and Andy... Did you enjoy it?

Cute monkeys Ryan... I need to bring the girls out there in April. They would love it. :) Need to put it on my calendar. :)

Hope I didn't miss anyone.... Sometimes I just fall behind on life... pretty much all the time, but then whose counting.. .haha..

HAPPY TUESDAY everyone!! :)

Talk about falling behind... :) I am wayyyy behind.

Looks like everyone is having fun, new lenses, great flower photos, bikes, dogs, planes, dogs, wow.

I have been a bit sick lately and now trying to catch up, hope to stay up to date from here on.
