Amazing plane photos Jay!

I went down to Tempe Town Lake a couple days ago. Not nearly as good as some that have been posted but whatever :) Last day with L glass so I tried to make the most of it.

I like em. The water came out way better than my shots when I was there last.

I'm not sure if I like these, struggled with triggering OCF and focus issues, but practice is practice so I tried to move forward . . .

Lookin good Doug. I'm still learning too when it comes to OCF.

Ryan, cool pano.

Here is my first attempt at using off camera flash. Single 430 EX II camera left with shoot thru umbrella about 4 feet away using Cybersyncs. Flash at 1/32 power. Whiteboard used for reflector lower camera right. Not thrilled about the pose and crop (I had to bribe my son for 15 minutes of posing time reciprocating with 1 hour playing "Mario Strikers Charged" with him), but I think the lighting turned out OK.

Great pictures everybody! I've been following Craig's list lately, and this one came up today:

"Canon 50d Body Only - 500 clicks - Never Used".

If it's not used, how can there be five hundred clicks? I couldn't find a price, but it must be a good deal, no?
 :p

Great pics all - sorry i am not participating more - been swamped lately with work and family life. I check in and am enjoying everyone's work; I just don't have much time to contribute.

Nice captures all! Really like the OCF shot Bob... well done!

I picked up the Canon 200mm F/2.8L MK2 the other day... I think I have it dialed in now... it's going to be a fun lens to shoot.

Shots are @ F/2.0-F4.0... just test shots... nothing fancy...natural ligt.
