I've been following Craig's list lately, and this one came up today: "Canon 50d Body Only - 500 clicks - Never Used". If it's not used, how can there be five hundred clicks? I couldn't find a price, but it must be a good deal, no? ![]() I've been watching Craigslist daily as well. Over the past week i've picked up the Vagaband II battery listed there and also the X800 White Lightning strobe with stand, softbox, umbrella. So far i've made out pretty good with the deals i've come across. Now i'm still trying to find a decent light meter and some cybersync receivers. Eric Schlaht - Phoenix Arizona Photographer

Congratulations Randy! Once you learn how to use it and see the beauty, imagine the possibilities with a mac lol! I dug my feet in on both the iMac and the iPhone, but I totally got used to it, and I'm not geek either, and I'm still in love. You can do this lol! my little gallery

You have a great LCD on the back of your camera and with it you can zoom in and see how the ratios look and such. that is why they had polaroid film back then to see how the lighting actually looks before any "real" shots are taken. I only added the quotes cause of what I had to do for my photo classes at nau. cntry wrote in post #10450876 Woo Hoo just got a i Phone 4, lol now just have to figure out how to use it. Jun 30, 2010 09:33 | #6734 Randy, I used to go crazy looking at all the apps, but finally just settled on a few that I go to every day. I have this site, and some others "bookmarked" in my bookmark folder, the Facebook app, my Zenfolio app (or if you have Flickr, there's an app for that), Car Minder (keeps track of mileage, services, and due dates), Take Me to my Car (when it gets lost in large parking lots), Amazon shopping app, and the Pandora Music app. I can't recall which ones were free tho, but these are my favs. Also, make sure you have a map or GPS app that you like well, a weather app (I like WeatherBugLite), and a "finder" app for gas stations, restaurants, shopping, etc. my little gallery

I only added the quotes cause of what I had to do for my photo classes at nau. ![]() The only reason why I want a light meter is because i have 3 different strobes. All 3 strobes have different power and it would take some time for trial and error to get them all dialed in correctly. With a light meter, if i wanted to shoot at f/4 i could dial them in each individually in no time. I'm just looking for a cheap solution under $100 that would save me time when doing a 3+ light setup on location. Other then that, you are right, the 7D has an amazing screen on back to check for exposure (and i shoot in raw). Eric Schlaht - Phoenix Arizona Photographer
