How about a group on a houseboat up at Powell or over at Mead? Kristy is our resident boat expert... Lake Mead might be cool? I'll be in Vegas from the 29th of July to 2 Aug... but.. I'm thinking it will be Africa hot there as well.

Do the entire drive, entering at Sunset Crater and out the other end, which dumps you back on 89 about 10 miles North of the entrance. It's 30 miles of niceness. Surely a sunset drive is the best option.
