With the second shot its doesn't have a point of interest. From what I can see from the small picture they both look to be well focused, agree about the busy background but you cant help that. YNWA.

I intentionally make my pictures smaller when I upload them to flickr. next time, i will try to post from my hard drive. Thanks for the comments.
