What are the reviews on all these old lenses (M42 thread etc.) and the results they have on digital EOS? A lot of them are very cheap...

In my opinion in overall it beats the Nifty (which, despite it being cheap, has a great IQ). I am actually considering selling the Nifty, esp. if I end up upgrading to the body with a brighter viewfinder. Ex-Canon shooter. Now Sony Nex.
