I got new lighting for a small studio. I have two 16x16 and a barndoor light working.

Can you please cc the lighting of my kid please. I just through her in.

The lighting makes her appear diagonal. Heh! But seriously, the only quibble I might have would be the multiple catchlights, which are maybe a tad distracting -- but of course can be easily fixed in PP if you so desire. I'm sure others can give a more advanced critique regarding lighting.

The colors of the photo look rather weak. Is that related to too much flash or just low saturation and contrast applied here? Or possibly the WB is off - too cool.

The overall effect is flat lighting, resulting in not much 3-dimensionality, if any.

you can whatever color you want for the little rubber things going around the braces. back 10 years ago when i had mine, i used to get caribbean blue/lime green. the girls loved 'em! haha
