Hi all

I have a 2 night stop in Bangkok towards the back end of May for work. Looking for ideas what to see, as I've never been before. Thinking of the zoo in Dusit. If anyone has any info or recommendations, greatly appreciated. I'll be there midweek and have one and half days free, so hope to get some nice pics.

Regards Chris

Thanks.
Want to see lots of animals that I can't see here, plus the scenery, which is why I was looking at the zoo. Just not got a lot of time to fit it all in, as arrive 1400-ish one day, depart 2300-ish the next. Will just have to sleep on the plane :-)

Bangkok is a city for street shots. Walk around a lot, use the BTS, go out at sunset to the tallest buildings (Le Bua State Tower and Sirocco) in town and eat a lot.

It's such a colorful and busy city, you'll snap-up 2,000 shots without even realizing it.

Here is what to expect as seen on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=Bangkok (external link)

Have fun and don't forget to post some shots here.

Thanks for the info.

Unfortunately, plans have changed, and I'm now off to HKG instead of Bangkok. The joys of working for an airline :-)
