so this morning I decided I wanted to get some down low pics of the ducks in my back pond so out I headed with my rubber boots and tripod into the water. Not long after I returned with soaking feet, my boots full of water and a wet rear lol.

So off to the local bass pro and voilla some new wadders :)

and this was about as low as I could go in the water without submerging my tripod head lol

all taken with 40D + Sigma 500mm F4.5 on a tripod and me sitting in the water

Beautiful low angle on these. If I got down that low, I'd never get back up. The second to last shot is a big winner here. Good shooting.

Shooting with more great Canon gear than I deserve.
I don't need a second childhood. I'm not finished yet with the first one.

Great detailed shots of the hen... the 2nd and 5th shot are really neat with the marsh marigolds shining their reflections.

I think she figured, if you'll get wet I'll pose for you.
I love all the shots.
