Something from my little Fujifilm XF-1!
Imported the .raf file like this

IMAGE: http://imageshack.us/a/img268/8017/beforezx.jpg

Applied these settings in LR
IMAGE: http://imageshack.us/a/img833/4981/settingsq.jpg
I also applied a gradient filter above the tail of the aircraft, with a -.97 EV, +36 Saturation and +17 contrast
And exported this
IMAGE: http://imageshack.us/a/img407/6577/aftersu.jpg

Which after a little work in PS (mostly sharpening, some curves adjustments for fine tuning parts), became this

What if it was edited with the RAW plugin for photoshop? Then it should be fine, no? It's much the same as LR (and Lightroom IS Adobe 'Photoshop' Lightroom ;) )

Yup - long as it's ACR only with no further tweakin' in PS it fits right in :)

I've been away for too long, going to have to play again soon.

Had to crop it a lot, so it probably wouldn't make a big print, but I liked it.

Absolutely fine with everybody around here. However, part of the game rules here is to post the settings of your RAW file manipulation. This is what creates the biggest AHA effect, don't you think?

Just look at post #5512 (swoffa)....very nice before and after, but since he shared the settings we all have a chance to learn and understand how he got from before to after....

Please pardon my ignorance, but what does AHA stand for?

Thank you

I am not sure where publishing the LR of ACR settings will be beneficial .... Each shot is different and needs different settings so there is no sense in just copying settings.
A brief description like "boosting shadows and muting highlights", "sharpening" and the application of a digital GND filter can be useful but IMHO is not essential. Everyone has to learn the tricks by experimenting on their own shots. This is just a place to show what can be achieved.
But... I may be wrong.... :)

I actually think it is very useful. Of course you can't just copy settings but you can see something interesting and say "How did they do that?". Then you look at the settings and see what the impact was. This is one way to learn new things.

It is less about copying and more about adding tools to your toolbox.
