What exactly is the advantage of having ETTL in off camera situation? I asked this because it seems very expensive to get that.

Beginning titles are way too long.

Could do with some music.

:) I'm a video pro dude, I am picking on you on purpose and as a joke. :)

Nice video, very well done. You have a good face/voice for video. Do some more (but get a lapel mic). :)

You could shoot with your flash units in manual, in fact my separation light usually is. But I like the convenience of having my main light E-TTL because I don't have to worry about tweaking it every couple of shots. This allows me to concentrate more on the composition/pose/etc of the shot.

Very nicely done video, and please don't add music while you are speaking. This may be the popular thing to do but it's pointless and personally, I find it distracting and annoying, especially when it's done in an instructional video. I've yet to attend a class or a lecture where the speaker plays music while he's speaking.

Again very well done.

Thanks so much for taking the time to put this video together. Not only did you show us your set up, but then you showed pictures of your set up and the resulting photo. Beginners like me will really appreciate this. I have one question about high speed flash sync, which thanks to you I now understand even though I had read the manual and not really gotten the concept. Does the high speed flash sync work if you're not in E-TTL mode?

Great job! Thank you for posting.

A lecture is not a video.

Also I've been to many, many places where the speaker has music on in the background (usually played live). If it doesn't distract from the clarity of the voice it is nearly always better. Why? Because, music adds feeling to a video/speech and therefore is not "pointless" as you say. It helps evoke emotions and relax the viewer/listener. You are always entitled to your opinions though. :)

The problem with THIS video though would be that there is too much background noise, the music would get lost in the noise and just become distracting. So I'd have to agree with your post in relation to this video, but not in general. :)
