Hi everyone,

I have the Pelican 1514 case (1510 with padded dividers), and am currently looking for a larger case for some other equipment. I am pretty sure the 1650 is overkill for what I need (plus I don't want to have to lift that beast in and out of the car). I have seen one comparison of the 1514 to the 1654 here: LINK. Does anyone here have any images comparing the 1510 to the 1610?

Here is a pic of them side by side.
I use the 1610 for home storage, the 1510 is ideal for my purpose.

It fits all I need for a Speedway Meeting.
2 x MK 111 bodies, 300 2.8, 70-200 2.8, 24-70 2.8, 580 EX and the Quantum Turbo (sits on top of the 24-70).

Can also cram in a extra 580.

pockets get filled with cleaning bits, flash batteries and extra memory.

Thanks for the photo, steavyd!

Here is what my 1514 looks like, fully packed. This was before I installed the lid organizer, it fits even more with all the little things packed away inside the lid pockets!

Clockwise, from top left: Canon batteries for 5D and 50D, 100mm Macro, 16-35L, 85L II without hood, 24-70L with hood reversed, 50D body on its side, Canon strap covering stuff to be revealed in next photo, 580EX flash and 50D manual on top of another surprise, 1D2N body, hoods for 85L II and 35L, CF cards and another Canon battery:

Camera straps moved aside to reveal the hood for the 16-35L and a remote cable release, but not much else:

When the flash and 50D manual are removed, a 70-200/2.8 L with hood reversed reveals itself:

And when the two CF card cases and Canon battery are moved, a 35L reveals itself:

I almost got the 151x series in lieu of the 161x. I am glad that I went with the 1614 first. It is pretty much full at this point, and I am thinking of getting a 151x just for flashes and electrical stuff (chargers, backup drive, rayflash, flash bracket, etc.). Trouble is I don't really want to have to wheel two devices = two trips for a shoot.

Why can't you drag both of them behind you? That's what I do when I'm shooting without an assistant...
