I spent several years boonie tromping through Vietnam as a combat cameraman and never trashed my cameras the way this guy did.

I find it funny how people think they have achieved somthing in being rough with there gear, If I was out in the wilderness somewhere I would be even more carefull with my gear because It would be hard to find replacements and you might miss photos.

Definitely a testament to the durability of the gear - but it's no reason not to baby your gear as much as possible :)
