My 1D MIII is in the shop so I shot with my trusty 20D this weekend. Here are a few of the results. I think the 20D held its own nicely. Thanks for looking, comments welcome.

These are great! I love seeing a photog give children sports as much attention to detail that I'm used to seeing only in higher level athletics. What lenses did you use for these? You did a great job of separating the subjects from a distracting background.

By the way, is the last image cropped? I've always found it difficult to accurately track a moving subject with longer lenses.

NBA photogs still uses the 20D, I've seen it with my own eyes.

there's no reason why that camera still can't produce good images.

I still use my 20d over 100k shots on it and still moving strong. When it dies I might just get another or a 30d. These cameras are the best camera $300 can buy right now.

Yup still shooting mine. Getting to the point where I have a fair amount of dead pixels on long exposures, but hey, for shooting 1/500th @ 2.8 like usual, it's still pretty kickin'

Great shots, love the first.

I used ths Canon 400 F2.8L for these. The last one was cropped. The original included his legs from just below his knees

Agreed, that's why I love having it as a back-up when needed.
