Where do you consistently find the best prices for cameras and lenses?

I am just about ready to pull the trigger on a 50D. With the exception of an occasional e-bay auction, Amazon seems to have the best price I can find.

Depends on where you live. Im in the UK.

I normally shop at warehouse express. Maybe not the cheapest but they are quite cheap. They have good customer service which makes me come back.

Amazon is one of (if not THE) largest supplier, so they have a little bit more leway with their prices than some other places. They have earned it though, they have a great reputation.

ebay is great if you get it from a reputable seller. Currently a 8% cashback through Live.com which is instant when paying with Paypal.

I usually check pricegrabber to get the ball park figure.
Then I check Amazon.com, bhphotovideo.com, beachcamera.com, buydig.com. Canogacamera.com has low prices but it's in CA where I live, so I'd have to pay taxes on it.

Thanks everyone. I made the purchase last night through amazon. I was glad to know that the price I got was good.

I did not see Licepic's recommendation to check live.com until after I made the purchase. Several of their links beat what I got at amazon. Although, one of the links, regal.com -- I seem to remember having a bad experience with a long time ago. If memory serves, they were selling gray market items (items not packaged or warrantied for sale in the US) without indicating that it was gray market. B&H sells gray market too, but they indicate that while selling the gray item right next to the higher price US item.

edit:
