While replying to a thread elsewhere, I realized that I have used quite a few digital cameras over the last few years. So, here is my little tribute to my little electronic mistresses, as best as I could do it - one image per camera! It was hard choosing just one image for each model. Thinking about it, I could have chosen completely different images, but you gotta stop somewhere!

I started with the EOS DSLRs here, then I remembered that I used some P&S models, too. Mods, please feel free to move it wherever appropriate, I posted it here since most of my cameras were EOS DSLRs.

Here we go:

EOS D30:

Part deux :)

Canon Powershot G9:

Fuji Finepix F30:

Canon IXUS (Powershot S100) - yes, the original 2mp digital IXUS:

Nikon Coolpix 990:

These are by no means the only digital cameras that I've owned or used. I had a Kodak fixed-lens digital wonder before the Nikon Coolpix, and I have a feeling I'm forgetting some others. If you'd like to add your own tribute to digital cameras, feel free, but please - one image per camera only!

Comments welcome. :)

A thread that shows that it is definitely about the photographer, not the piece of electronic equipment they are holding!

Great shots.

Thanks Lee, much appreciated! But... I don't want this to turn into a competition, that was not my intent. What I would like is for people to post whatever photos are important to them. I'm sure that's why we take photos - for the memories, right? Viewing these, I can remember each occasion, where I was and what I was doing while taking those photos. So, post your memories, but only one per camera model. :D

I'll play. It's a little impossible to pick one image per camera though, here are just a few from some, but not all, of the digital bodies I've owned (1D, 1DIIN, and a few others omitted).

^ I love that second shot. A tender moment captured under some terrific light. Lovely.

your flower shot produced by the 5D is brilliant and mesmerizing. I see why you had a tough time selecting images for your showcase; they are all beautiful and given your broad portfolio, I'm sure the runner ups were just as stellar.

PS - I had a Nikon Coolpix 990 also!
