^ I don't know anything about fowls. But if it's a mocking bird mocking the ducklings, then that sounds like what a mocking bird might do. :lol:

So you are liking the EF-S Screen? Have you noticed and detriment in non-MF situations? metering, AF, VF brightness,etc?

The screen is definitely the way to go for MF lenses...
I see a difference between the Kodak/Tamron 80-210/4.5-5.6 and my 'new' 70-210/3.5-4.5 even outdoors...and when using the 18-55 kit indoors...makes a strong case for the 17-55/2.8...unlike the Kodak/Tamron, however, it's too costly to replace...easier to either use the kit on the 30D or just change screens...which is easy to do but I'm a Klutz (yes, that's a CAPITAL K) and scratched it at the edge...thank goodness at the edge and easy to overlook....

Just another follow-up on the screen difference...

I compared the 28-135 @ 35/F4 to the 18-55 at F4 @35mm on the 40D and 30D...and the difference is VERY noticably darker with EITHER lens on the 40D...
It will mean that either I replace the screen whenever I shoot indoors, or just use these lenses with 30D inside...or...just use the 35/2 inside...or...
