I just migrated from being a Nikon user and started using the 50d, however Ive noticed image quality degredation when using ACR and importing photos. Hi ISO images look great on camera however look horrible on the calibrated screen I use. Any ideas?

I have been using the canon DPP software, It handles the noise alot better. CS3 uses uses ACR 4.6 which does not handle the 50d noise so well.

I experimented a bit ago with noise and fidderances between DPP and ARC. When I manually set all setting to be the same between then, the pictures were very similar even pixel peeping at an insane 400%. Not sure why, but call me JJ.
